To be born is a fact. To live is not obvious, it's a choice.

To be born is indeed a fact. To live is not obvious but a choice that one makes. This is a statement that holds so much truth, yet known to very few. Most people go by the illusion that since they exist in the world, they are actually living. Well...yes we are all entitled to our own opinions and interpretations of the statement but I choose to look at it from a different perspective. In order to have a fulfilled life, we must purpose to make an impact in the lives of others each day. In other words, if what you did yesterday still seems big today, then you have done nothing today. To live is to understand that the daily challenges of life are there to shape and mold us into better people, it is to allow ourselves to grow through the challenges we face. It has never been easy to embrace challenges but once we do, things take a different turn because we become in charge and do not allow ourselves to be driven by mere emotions but by prudence in making rational decisions. We become the masters of our own destiny.
Unless we allow ourselves to learn from the past challenges, we will never move to the next level of our lives. we become stagnant, just existing through life because we have not created room for growth. To live is to grow.
An attitude of gratitude is also very important in life. One who is living will always find reason to appreciate all those around him or her. Appreciating the daily happenings of life, whether small or big, good or bad will help us be better people. After all it is said all things do happen for a reason, of which we may not fully comprehend at that particular moment but some where along the journey of life, we will  get a better understanding of all our situations. It is the attitude of gratitude that will make the difference in life. just like a butterfly we must spread our wings and fly...so let us all purpose to live cheerfully.
